Acceptance of Terms

By using QRastra, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to all users of QRastra, including individuals, businesses, and organizations.

License & Ownership

1. QRastra's Code

QRastra is open source software. The source code is available on GitHub and is licensed under the MIT License.

This means you can:

  • Use the code for any purpose, including commercial projects
  • Modify the code to suit your needs
  • Distribute your modifications
  • Use the code in your own projects

The only condition is that you include the original copyright notice and license text in your distribution.

2. Your Content

You own everything you generate. QR codes, barcodes, and any data you create using QRastra belongs entirely to you.

Key point: We don't claim any rights to your content. You can use it commercially, modify it, or do anything else you want with it.


Usage Rules

1. Acceptable Use

QRastra is designed for legitimate purposes. You agree to use the service responsibly and not for:

  • Illegal activities: Generating codes that facilitate illegal acts
  • Malicious purposes: Creating codes that lead to malware, phishing, or harmful content
  • Harassment: Generating codes intended to harass or harm others
  • Fraud: Creating codes that impersonate others or deceive users

2. No Unauthorized Access

You agree not to attempt to:

  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of QRastra
  • Bypass any security measures
  • Access any systems or data beyond what is publicly available
  • Interfere with the normal operation of QRastra

3. Fair Usage

QRastra is free and has no hard usage limits. However, we reserve the right to:

  • Monitor usage patterns to ensure fair access for all users
  • Take reasonable measures to prevent abuse
  • Limit access in cases of extreme misuse

Please note: We don't track your individual usage. These measures are only for protecting the service from abuse.


Privacy & Data

QRastra is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We don't guarantee that QRastra will be:

  • Error-free or bug-free
  • Available at all times (though we aim for 100% uptime)
  • Compatible with every device or browser
  • Fully secure in all environments

2. No Liability for Content

QRastra is a tool. You are responsible for the content you generate and how you use it. We are not liable for:

  • How your QR codes or barcodes are used
  • Any consequences of using generated codes
  • Misinterpretation or misuse of QR codes
  • Third-party actions based on your generated content

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRastra and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the service

  • Any errors or omissions in the service
  • Third-party actions related to your generated content

Intellectual Property

QRastra's source code is licensed under the MIT License. This means you can freely use, modify, and distribute the code, as long as you include the original license.

The QRastra brand, logo, and design are the intellectual property of QRastra. You may not use these for commercial purposes without permission.

Your generated QR codes and barcodes are yours. We claim no ownership or rights over them.


Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of QRastra after changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

We will never: Use changes to these terms to suddenly start collecting data or impose retroactive restrictions.
