Yes — every feature is completely free with no usage limits. Development is supported entirely by community donations, not subscriptions or ads. We believe that privacy-first tools should be accessible to everyone.
No. There's no login, no signup and no account system at all — open the app and start generating. We intentionally designed QRastra to be frictionless and private.
Entirely inside your browser. There's no backend or database, so your content never leaves your device. Every operation — generation, scanning, validation — runs locally using JavaScript and WebAssembly.
Yes — the full source is available on GitHub. Contributions from the community are welcome, whether it's code, documentation, or bug reports.
No. QRastra does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or any form of user tracking. We don't collect, store, or share any data about you or your usage.
No. QR codes are generated on-the-fly in your browser and never stored on any server. Once you close the page, the code is gone from memory unless you choose to download it.
QRastra uses minimal cookies only for essential functionality like theme preference. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Yes. QRastra offers full customization:

Yes! QRastra is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Once you visit the site, you can install it and it will work completely offline. All code and assets are cached locally.
Yes — codes and barcodes you generate are yours to use however you like, including in commercial products, packaging, marketing materials, and print. There are no restrictions or licensing fees.
QRastra supports multiple export formats:
